Established in 1981 (as Toledo Technologies) by Tom Prior, he first introduced Mettler Toledo to New Zealand. In recent years Lori, his son and owner , also established Bilanciai another world leading brand. Toltec Scale has been central in the New Zealand weighing industry ever since. 40 years later Tom is still a key part of Toltec, operating as a technical consultant, guiding and assisting our technical team with the passion that reared the company back in 1981. Tom’s son leads a large nationwide team. A trained scale technician, installer, fabricator and truck driver Lori too has a long history in the weighing industry. He is proud of our pedigree and history of performance.
